You attach the unique body parts to the Protoform robot and transform it Optimus Prime. Then you can transform the robot into truck mode. The Protoform robot can transform without the Optimus Prime attachments. The robot stands about 13cm tall with or without parts attached and has feet able to allow it to stand. All limbs have good articulation. Possibly one of the more complicated transformations to get right, small tweaks and patience are needed to get all the parts to fit together. As things do start to come together you appreciate the clever design of this toy, the clip on parts nature means that traditional transformation features wont work so clever use of folding is employed to do a neat job of hiding most truck parts when in robot mode (so long as you dont count his wings!). In case you were wondering, Prime is basically sitting down inside the truck mode. His head is bend backwards and his feet fold back up his legs. The best detailed vehicle mode, with chromed parts. Give it a try, it may look strange at 1st in robot mode, but after getting used to it you'll understand its potential. To have just one Movie figure I choose this one, without a single doubt. This is more collector oriented, it's not a toy for kids.
